World's Smallest Zamboni? Resurfacing the ice on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas

How do they take care of the ice on a cruise ship skating rink? Watch as a crew member resurfaces the ice on the world's largest cruise ship: Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas.

This is the 2nd pass over the ice. The resurfacer first works as a scraper - you will notice a crew member removing the snow from the ice scraping. In this video, the resurfacer is laying down hot water on top of the already scraped surface.

Watch as it reaches its top speed of 5 MPH! Don't worry though, it has a horn!
